The association wants to further professionalize. Against the background of a stronger joint project initialization, the office should be available as a competent contact for the fields of innovation, qualification and financing. For this purpose, the office should be expanded or a comprehensive network of specialists can be mobilized or used at any time via the office.

 

Target group specific services
The activities of the PolymerMat should be even more geared to the specific needs of its members. The association wants to offer concrete support, for example in the form of information events and consulting services etc. (e.g. in the field of financing).

Knowledge transfer
The association has to play its role as a platform for all aspects of the value chain. Here, representatives of the plastics industry should exchange information with each other and thus receive important impulses for their business activities.

Skilled workers
The activities of the association are intended to systematically secure the training, qualification and further education as well as the retention of skilled workers in Thuringian companies.

National awareness
The association communicates important industry developments intensively internally and externally.

Cooperation between business and politics
Promoting and advising economic processes with the aim of improving the economic environment is an essential field of activity of the PolymerMat. Due to its industry competence, the government is also being made aware of the necessary industrial policy initiatives to strengthen the industry in order to mobilize appropriate support.
